Hunt Images

King of the Mountain takes great pride in our customer's success. The pictures below are just a few examples of the hundreds of images we get every year. Each photo not only demonstrates how great KOM hunters are but also shares what KOM gear they used to be successful.

Have a hunting photo to share on our website? We want it! Make sure you include a photo caption with who, what, when, where, how. Images should be scanned in at roughly 300 X 300.

Seven years of trying to better the one on the wall FINALLY came to fruition on private ground, unguided hunt in Jewell Co, KS this weekend. I was shooting a Bighorn recurve, 250 Carbon Express arrow with a Snuffer broadhead. This big boy was chasing does, but came to a grunt/bleat call. The temps were mild 25-50's with SSE winds gusting to 25 MPH. The Trapper pullover with Standmaster Bibs and 200 gr Ulfrotte' underwear was perfect all day. Early mornings and high wind I pulled on a Muleskinner. You need to sit dark to dark during the rut!

Freezing, then raining, then freezing. Brutal late season hunting conditions but KOM kept me out there for this late season 140+ class buck. 56# Schafer Silvertip recurve used to down the monster. The mule skinner vest is an awesome hunting tool, perfect for stop and go, especially dragging out a big bodied animal in wet, freezing weather.

My blowdown rancher is the most versatile jacket I've ever owned. As a bowhunter from treestands it excels! The light/ dark contrast keeps me hidden while on the ground from early season until snow or as mentioned, it's perfect for hunting from above. This buck hung around for fifteen minutes as I drew and let down several times. He never saw or heard me. I don't hunt anywhere now without my KOM clothing. And my wardrobe of it keeps growing!
